Assassin\’s Creed II Official Launch Trailer
(above is the link to The Official Game Trailer)
How are gamers reading this post doing? Fine I hope, because today I’m going to write about about this particular video game that has been keeping everyone at the edge of their seats, for it is a game that could almost be called as a legend. From the famously debuted video game publishers and developers of the Prince of Persia series, Splinter Cell, Settlers, and other very well known video games, comes the sequel to a game that had been a “…a challenging Parkour path of escape… (Andrew P. for EGM), and sold around 8 million copies to date. A video game where you what you can do, which is nothing less than or more than to kill (simply). Yes, if you have guessed Assassin’s Creed II, then you have scored a ‘touchdown.’ Coming from the well renowned game of the series, Assassins Creed, the latest version is one outstanding and amazing game that blow your mind away. As it’s predecessor, the game’s main character is controlled from a third-person type of view. The game takes place in an ‘open world’ with a type of gameplay called ‘nonlinear gameplay.’ This allows the character to go anywhere, in this case, in the 15th century Italy (Venice, Tuscan, etc.) I found that very impressive, as you can do anything you want anywhere you want to. Now that’s cool! Also, as any other game would have, NPC’s play a big part in games. Withought them, any video game on this planet would be useless (even online games). In Assassin’s Creed II, the game creators have gone to almost extreme measure to give NPC’s minute details and in-depth.

Now that I mention it, many cool and helpful features have been added to the this game, like the fact that your character can swim, steer boats, and ride horses (if those resources are available at hand). You can even fly with of Leonardo Da Vinci’s flying machines, which is based from one of his actual inventions/drawings. This is what gaming is about! But enough of me telling you about all those cool new features in the game even before I tell you what the story is about. For those gamers who haven’t played the first Assassin’s Creed, the story is about a guy named Desmond Miles, in the year 2012. He is soon kidnapped by by a pharmaceutical company for a test. In that test, the company has made a device that can read one’s genetic history, and specifically one of Desmond Mile’s ancestor in 1191 AD. That person was a very powerful person in an assassin clan. So when the company finds Desmond’s ancestor, he re-lives that person’s thought’s and movements as if in virtual reality. Cool right? And, as I mentioned before, the best part is that you can basically do anything you want (almost like GTA, but in 1191 AD). Well, that’s all for today fellow gamers. Jetuas108 signing out.
